Secondary Machine Setup
Description
Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is looking for a full-time Machine Setup who will be working in our St. Marys, PA location. This person will report to the Manager of Secondary Operations. This opening is on 2nd shift, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- To efficiently and safely setup departmental equipment with occasional supervision.
- To efficiently and safely operate equipment, including the making of
satisfactory adjustments to ensure product quality.
- To know and follow procedures applicable to this job classification.
- Legibly record and maintain applicable product/process information.
- Effectively utilize measuring equipment and information obtained from
its use to insure continuation of control conditions.
- Provide active input to continuous process improvement.
- Effectively communicate job related information to co-workers, supervisors,
service areas and others with a need to know.
- Maintain cooperative relationships with other functional areas.
- Participate in training of others.
- Perform other tasks as requested.
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, etc.
- Ability to read and understand procedures, process sheets, manuals, etc.
Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, competencies and location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation and benefits package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
